The tomb of Julius Caesar is located within the Roman Forum, near the east end of the Forum of Caesar. It is believed to be the spot where Caesar's body was cremated after his assassination in 44 BC. The tomb itself later became the site of a temple dedicated to the emperor. The structure is made of concrete and faced with marble, and it is decorated with relief sculptures depicting Caesar's life and accomplishments. Although the tomb has suffered damage over the centuries, it remains one of the most iconic and historically significant sites in Rome.
